Garth D. Hall Memorial Scholarship in Architectural Technology
RRJ established the Garth D. Hall Memorial Scholarship in Architectural Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Architecture to honor the legacy of Garth Hall, AIA, an RRJ Principal who passed away in 2014 after fearlessly battling Leukemia. Garth joined RRJ in 1997 after receiving Masters of Architecture and Civil Engineering degrees from both the College of Fine and Applied Arts and the College of Engineering in 1996, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies in 1994 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
This annual scholarship is awarded to a graduate student pursuing dual Masters degrees in Architecture and Engineering with the focus of studies in the field of building science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Architecture.
Garth is remembered for his expertise in building science
and for the continual dedication and generosity
he gave to the profession, our firm, and his community.
