The University of Chicago | Cobb Gate

Chicago, Illinois

The historic Cobb Gate is a symbolic main entrance to the University and is traveled by hundreds of students, faculty and visitors daily. To provide an accessible complaint route, the east and west entrances were re-designed involving a slop drop and a new pavement surface along with additions and restoration of the old iron gates. RRJ investigated and developed repairs for the distressed and performance related problems of the granite pavers resulting from the restoration.
