Robert Haukohl and Joseph Macicak present at the Wisconsin Defense Council Spring Conference

RRJ's presentation titled, "What Could Possibly Go Wrong? Why Problems Arise on Construction Projects and Figuring Out Who's Responsible" outlines the roles and responsibilities of the parties involved in a construction project and how they can lead to problems. WDC is dedicated to the defense of Wisconsin citizens and business offering education and networking for its 450 attorney members. In addition to our presentation, RRJ is a sponsor and exhibitor of the two-day conference at the American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin.

Patrick Reicher, S.E., REWC and Patrick Olechno, P.E. join RRJ as part of the expansion of the firm's engineering staff

RRJ expands engineering staff with the addition of Patrick Reicher, S.E., REWC as Senior Engineer and Patrick Olechno, P.E. as Engineer I. Each brings experience in forensic investigation, testing, and repair design of building structures and enclosure systems and components, along with a background in structural design of new and renovated residential and commercial buildings.

Robert Kritzler and Brian Lammert present "Tall Curtain Wall Systems and Large Seismic Drift" at the NASCC, Steel Conference in Orlando, Florida

This case study examines the curtain wall system for a new international airport terminal building for accommodating large inter-story drift movements and how to provide installation tolerances in the design, discusses the process to design to meet AISC 360, and the use of mock-up testing to demonstrate seismic drift performances and damage limit requirements.
