Demetria Boatwright is a member of RRJ’s structural engineering staff specializing in the evaluation, investigation, and repair design of distressed buildings, and structures.
She has participated in numerous condition assessments and investigation projects involving cast-in-place, precast, and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, steel, and timber structures, including historic timber structures. Her investigative responsibilities consist of structural component surveys, structural strength evaluations, nondestructive testing, building code compliance, and material sampling. Project investigations have included destructive openings; concrete crack and delamination mapping; documentation of distressed connections, steel corrosion, and wood decay; and masonry wall evaluations.
Demetria has also performed structural analysis, finite element modeling, and nonlinear analysis for a range of building types and has provided litigation support services related to structural failures.
