Chicago Place Building

Anchored by the iconic department store of Saks Fifth Avenue, Chicago Place is a mixed-use high-rise on the 700 block of North Michigan Avenue featuring an eight-story distinctive mall located in the heart of the “Magnificent Mile” in downtown Chicago.

RRJ provided engineering consultation to investigate the causes of cracking and spalling of the eighth- and ninth-floor precast concrete water table units and ninth-floor precast concrete coping units on the exterior facade of the retail mall portion of the high-rise complex.
