College of Lake County Cafe Building

The café is a two-story structure that includes a variety of exterior wall systems, multiple roof levels, interstitial spaces and communicating parapets, below-grade spaces with drainage and waterproofing, below-grade utility tunnels with waterproofing requirements, and multiple interfaces between the new construction and existing enclosure systems.  As part of the college’s building expansion program, RRJ was retained by the general contractor to perform an architectural peer review of the building enclosure drawings and specifications for the new cafe, infill court, and utility tunnel.
