Columbia College Student Center

This 114,000 square foot facility is organized into flexible space where students have access to integrated spaces for both structured and informal interaction and learning, including individual space, to dance studios, to analog and digital maker labs, to an 800-person event space. RRJ was retained to provide enclosure consulting services for this new student center to serve as the central hub of this expansive urban campus.

Scope of Services

• Provide enclosure consulting
• Review of the architectural drawings and specifications
• Perform thermal modeling and hygrothermal analyses of typical exterior wall conditions
• Review shop drawing, submittals and RFIs
• Assist in developing curtain wall mockup testing requirements
• Facilitate exterior wall preconstruction workshops
• Perform on-site quality assurance visits and field quality control testing
• Provide close-out documentation
