In 1966, Charles Raths founded this firm with a commitment to engineering fundamentals, attention to detail and dedication to client service. He and his partners, Donald Raths and Robert Johnson, positioned the firm as one of the early forensic engineering practices in the country.

RRJ established the Garth D. Hall Memorial Scholarship in Architectural Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Architecture to honor the legacy of Garth Hall, an RR&J Principal who passed away in 2014.
