Kurt is the President of RRJ and is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the firm's consulting and testing services. He has specialized in the investigation and repair of distressed and deteriorated structures and the performance of building materials and systems. He consults in the areas of structural analysis, complete collapse, design peer review, water leakage investigation, and expert witness testimony.

His portfolio of experience has been diverse, involving a variety of projects ranging from investigation and evaluation to rehabilitation of numerous building types. He provides litigation consulting and expert witness testimony on building enclosure performance issues and failures.

Her building enclosure expertise includes hygrothermal modeling, Building Enclosure Commissioning (BECx), consulting on new construction, and litigation support.

An exterior wall expert, he has specialized in the project management of building enclosure consulting and field quality testing for new construction and construction documentation and construction observation of major repair programs.

She consults on related enclosure performance issues involving historic restoration design, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation.
