Indianapolis International Airport

RRJ was retained by legal counsel for the structural steel erector’s engineer to investigate the cause of the shift in the roof shoring/jacking system.  Additionally, RRJ provided technical assistance in developing a procedure to lift and restore the roof structure to planned final design elevations on a very short time line, given the potential for delay damages.  The roof trusses had to be lifted/jacked upward without damaging the roof structure, including a number of unfinished and partially completed field-welded truss connections, without overloading the shoring/jacking system.
