Advocate Sherman Hospital

Advocate Sherman Hospital is a 650,000 square foot replacement hospital and a 100,000 square foot medical office building. The building incorporates several wings up to six stories in height. The exterior is clad in a combination of brick veneer, cast stone, metal panels and various glazing systems.

Advocate Health Care retained RRJ to investigate and evaluate the performance of the existing building enclosure, including the building pressurization and environmental control within the facility, as well as insulation at the exterior walls. A limited visual interior walkthrough revealed water leakage distress along the exterior walls on the ground floor.
