Chicago Public Library - Edgewater Branch

This new branch library is a two-story, 18,700 SF building designed to LEED Gold certification standards. This facility replaces the outmoded facility and was commissioned by the Public Building Commission of Chicago. RRJ was retained by the general contractor to prepare a set of masonry shop drawings for the building, and on-site construction observation.

Scope of Services

  • Create masonry shop drawings
  • Perform on-site construction observation
  • Review architectural/structural drawings and specifications
  • Select masonry veneer wall and cast stone anchorage
  • Conduct field observation during construction
