David Fortino specializes in the evaluation, investigation, repair design, construction contract administration for repair projects involving both new and existing buildings.  He has performed air leakage and water penetration field testing, moisture diagnostics, condition survey documentation, and provided litigation support related to building enclosures and materials nonperformance issues.

Mr. Fortino has knowledge and investigative experience in a variety of building enclosures, cladding materials, and wall systems, including concrete, masonry, granite cladding, stucco, exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS), direct-applied finish systems (DAFS), elastomeric coatings, air barriers, sealants, fireproofing, windows, exterior doors, skylights, curtain walls, insulating glass units, vehicular deck coatings, roofing assemblies, flashing, metal panel systems, and waterproofing systems.
