This new instructional facility at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will add four floors and 122,000 square feet of teaching space to the campus. It is designed to house 23 general classrooms with alternative classroom layouts and seven team rooms. Portions of the building will feature windows made of smart glass technology that controls incoming light. RRJ was retained by the developer to provide building enclosure commissioning services (BECx) for this LEED project.
