South Plaquemines High School

During construction of this new school, Hurricane Isaac inflicted significant storm damage to the structure.  At the time the storm struck, the building enclosure was 80% complete.  The storm tore off localized portions of the standing seam metal roof and building enclosure resulting in damaging water infiltration throughout the roof and walls. The general contractor retained RRJ evaluate moisture intrusion, material degradation, and potential chloride contamination of the metal building components.

  • Investigate storm damage to enclosure and roof
  • Investigate water damage to interior
  • Test chloride levels to determine corrosion potential
  • Document investigation findings
