Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy

This fast-track high school project transformed a 1920s-era abandoned industrial building into a LEED Silver building that won awards for its adaptive reuse. Its gleaming, color-morphing facade utilizes a high-performance skin consisting of a rain screen technology and spray insulation. The contractor retained RRJ to perform a peer review of the architectural drawings and specifications related to air and moisture control of the exterior wall sections and waterproofing details of the high-performance skin.

Additionally, RRJ conducted site observations of the existing conditions of the roof and window installations for quality assurance.
