University of Illinois Hospital Medical Center

This eight-story building is an affiliate of the Illinois Medical District, one of the largest urban healthcare, educational, research, and technology districts in the country. The facility, constructed in the 1970’s, includes a general medical and surgical building, a Level 2 Trauma Center, as well as a pediatric hospital with a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The Hospital retained RRJ to perform an enclosure condition assessment and develop design repairs for areas that included steel roofing above an ambulance garage canopy, low -slope roofing, as well as portions of the enclosure at penthouses and louvers.
